Part L 2013
Changes to Approved Document Part L2A came into effect on April 6th 2013. All new build projects where a building notice, full plans submission or initial notice was made to a local authority after this date will be subject to these new regulations. The basic premise of the document is to generate a 9% aggregate improvement in carbon emissions across all building types (different for Wales and, Scotland & Northern Ireland). The following document looks at the main changes and how they might impact our industry.
