Working with E G Carter & Co Ltd and the rest of the project team, Axiom undertook the full installation and commissioning of the mechanical and electrical services.

Due to the open plan nature of the building and exposed ceilings, a high level of coordination and exceptional standards of workmanship were required to ensure the right architectural aesthetic was achieved.

Picking up the RIBA Stage 3 design from Smith Consult Ltd, Axiom were responsible for the full MEP design to RIBA Stage 4. This involved TM52 thermal analysis, Part L Compliance reports, BB101 calculations, spatial coordination of all services, technical design calculations, equipment schedules and manufacturing/construction drawings and information. The specific systems were wide ranging, with the emphasis on energy efficient solutions.
