Veterinary Nursing & Technical Skills Centre, Hartpury College
We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the new Veterinary Nursing and Technical Skills Centre for Hartpury University.
Working for Main Contractors Barnwood Ltd, Axiom Building Services Ltd were appointed to carry out the installation of all Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC) and Public Health Systems required for this new state of the art facility.
Axiom were required to carry out Part L Compliance checks and TM-52 Thermal Analysis using dynamic modelling software to ensure the highest levels of energy efficiency. The final design resulted in the implementation of Hybrid VRF (HVRF) to provide all heating and cooling, and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) for the delivery of Domestic Hot Water (DHWS). A Building Management System (BMS) was installed to ensure suitable control and monitoring of all systems and to maintain efficiency during use.
Thanks to a proactive and collaborative approach from the entire project team, this project was a pleasure to work on and the building was delivered to a very high standard, as can be seen in the photographs.
