Warden Hill School, Cheltenham
Built on the site of the existing infant and junior school, the new build project was constructed in order to consolidate all the teaching accommodation under one roof. Our works included the coordination and installation of all Mechanical Services with an approximate project value of £700k.
The two storey building consisted of teaching classrooms, a commercial kitchen, dining and sports halls, technology and construction facilities.
Energy efficiency was high on the agenda, and an air source heat pump and gas-fired boiler hybrid solution was installed as part of the overall strategy contributing towards achieving Gloucestershire County Councils sustainability targets of 100% offset of CO2 emissions.
Axiom was pleased to have worked successfully with the E.G. Carter (main contractor), Smith Consulting (M&E Design Consultants) and the rest of the construction team to bring this project to fruition, on time and within budget.
